Practicing our Principles

The membership of Thomas Dongan takes its support of Community, Church and Patriotism as well as its mission of Unity and Fraternity to heart.

Each year, the Council members have worked to hold the annual John J. Maloney Golf Outing and Dinner. Not simply a day out in the sun, the event has raised funds to put students through Cathedral Preparatory High School every year.

In addition, the event raised thousands for Wheelchairs for Warriors.

Every year the members of Thomas Dongan accept donations of food and each Spring, they gather together to load a truck full of supplies to deliver them to local Church Food Pantries, filling their shelves.

Annually the members organize and run a youth free-throw shooting contest and collect and contribute books which are in turn donated to the Veteran’s Hospital Library.

Members also annually support Wreath for Soldiers

Through numerous events, funds are raised to support Local schools, Community Events and distressed members.
